Shit Tm Horror Series

By coincidence I stumbled upon the master protagonist of Norwegian Skateboard brand- Shit, Frode Goa and we got to talking. -And before I knew it, I was working on a Horror deck series for the rising company. The plan was to get the boards out before Halloween, but production was unfortunately delayed. The boards will be available in neon green, neon pink and silver.
You can eventually order the boards HERE.

Oslo Sci-Fi Festival Exhibit 2009

My friend Martin Holm have been doing the visual profile for OSFF a couple of years now, and he asked me if I wanted to have an exhibit there this year. And so I did.
After a hectic race to get things ready, the exhibit were a hit.
3 Big canvases (A1) and 6 smaller (30x30cm). I took hold of a simple but never ending concept; the discussion theme of witch monster will win? I tried out some new styles and had fun making the exhibit. All in all a good run.

Tine IsKaffe campaign

Dist and me made the new campaign for Tine IsKaffe. The focus was on the fact that the new coffee is from Brazil. So we took the pattern from the packaging, used it as pixels and made a Brazillian Flag the key of the artwork in the campaign. The original packaging was made by Bjørn Rybakken at Tangram. Stripe made the movies.
Boards shown below.

T.I.P. Norsk Industri

Farm House contacted me a while back and wanted me to come and work with them in beautiful Stryn. It turned out that I got the simple task to develop a visual profile, illustrations and co-develop a concept. The client was T.I.P, or Norsk Industri.
T.I.P stands for technological industry and production, an educational branch with many sub genres. So, in cooperation with Farm House, I developed one main logo, and seven sub-logos, a character for each branch and all the profile elements. Also a recruiting-stunt involving the main T.I.P character.

Here are the core elements.

The profile also includes a website, brochures, a stunt, roll ups, t-shirts, business cards and various other elements.

Dum Dum Boys SingelCover

Dum Dum Boys contacted me and wanted me to make their singelcover for "Snø på mars" (snow on mars). Given a thight deadline and little information, I just took something and went with it. And I'm impressed with the band and what they went with in the end.

Some Choises are More Important than Others.

Well I've had a super time at DIST for a while now, and I thought I would show a little of what has happened. This is an ad for Litago "semesterets smak", where people can choose flavours and mix them together and suggest them to Litago, and maybe it'll end up as a flavoured milk. This ad was made like this because of the political theme of the magazine it were printed in.

Next Friday KF-shirt

The boys at Dist Creative had the opportunity to make a new Kreativt Forum T-shirt, and I had the pleasure to make the design for it. Martine Kveim made it possible for users of the shirt to cut out pieces of it, and exchange it for beers at Kreativt Forum's parties. Eirik Sørensen and Finn Kristian Eidem Knudsen, brilliant art directors as they are, came up with fun captions to each beer bong. Fun project.

KOTH (king of the hill) Profile elements 1

KOTH, or King of the Hill just released a new profile and website. (web crafted together by Martin Holm, thanks.) We thought to have it simple, but trying to keep it real like new old school. Whatever that means.
It's been a fun project, and it's still not 100% finished. But some elements are. It's a continuing process, and more elements for the store is bound to pop up.

First batch of shirts for team riders a.o.

Back to the Future, with the Royal Family.

The sweet guys at DIST asked me to help them with a job they had going on. The client turned out to be the The Crown Prince and Crown Princess’ Humanitarian Fund. I was pretty stoked about that. The project was a illustration brief. An ad, and some elements for a website for the competition they were having. See the website here. You'll see the ad and some details below.

Blodbanken T-shirts

The good chaps at Anorak asked me to help them with the graphics for Blodbanken Oslo's t-shirts. The kind you get after donating blood. They have a whole, every-day-hero going on, and so the prints would represent that in some way. One color for girls and one for boys.

By:Larm 09 Exhibition

As mentioned before, I was lucky enough to be a part of by:larm's Nisjelandet 09.
The canvases I exhibited were big illustrations inspired by a gigposter mentality. They spanned over 2 x 1,5 meters, printed on nylon canvases.
I also made t-shirts with the same prints in a very limited edition. Each print had 3 t-shirts, in two gender-models, only one in each size.
The exhibit went well, and truly was an amazing experience. Thanks Nisjelandet!

Discovery Channel, Hemsedal Illustration

TBWA contacted me and asked if I could help them with an illustration for Discovery Channel that was going to hang at Hemsedal Ski resort. The project was fun and proved to be quite large. The finished board was over 5 meters long and over 2 meters high, with around 30-40 illustrations. The point was to highlight the off-slope rides, and illustrate the name of each place.
Below you can see some of the illustrations up close.
I'll add photos as soon as possible.

The Press release is out now, where you can read all about the whole thing. (Only in Norwegian).
I'm on page 12. Download the rapport HERE.

New Cover Teaser...

It's not long to go before this hits the printers, but I'm very exited about it, so I have to show a "teaser". The band remains un-named, but it's going to be one hell of a record.

Ping & Major Parkinson Poster

The guys from Ping asked me to do a poster for their upcoming show alongside Major Parkinson. And with good time, now, we finished. There might come some small changes, you never know. But I hope not.
I had a lot of fun on this one. A lot of absurdities left un-scanned, and the typo in the middle was a laugh. fun stuff!

The band Young Fogertys, consisting of members from bands like the Cumshots, El Cuero and Shit City, plays cover versions of Creedence Clearwater Revival songs. Since I have had contact with the prior bands, they asked me to do a shirt for them. Based on the traditional baseball raglan shirt and retro with a twist mentality, this is what we ended up with.

Smartfish Illustration

2008 Scandinavia asked me for help on a project they had going on for Smartfish. -The new Omega 3 fruit drink, with Terje Håkonsen as one of the highest speaking profiles.
The project was to make a double page illustration for a special edition of the Skier Magazine. Witch is 70 x 49 cm! And we ended up with a weird illustration based on the mix between fish and fruit... Fun stuff. Thanks Martin.
